Welcome to PDFHaul ("Service"), operated by Bultech ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Bultech. By creating an account or using PDFHaul, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service immediately.
By using PDFHaul, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms, that you are at least 13 years old, that if you are under 18 you have obtained parental or guardian consent, and that you have the authority to enter into this agreement.
PDFHaul provides automated PDF processing tools including, but not limited to, merging, splitting, compressing, rotating, and reordering PDF files; PDF-to-image and image-to-PDF conversion; password protection; thumbnail generation; and OCR and AI-driven processing (current or future features). The Service is available via web browser and mobile applications (iOS and Android). It includes cloud storage connector integrations (including Dropbox and OneDrive) and a Workflows feature for chaining multiple processing steps. All processing is automated. We do not manually review uploaded files except as described in Section 6.
Some features are available without an account via an anonymous session. Full access requires creating an account. By registering, you agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information, maintain the confidentiality of your password, accept responsibility for all activity under your account, and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts at our discretion.
You agree not to use PDFHaul to upload malware, viruses, or harmful code; upload illegal, abusive, or offensive content; upload confidential, highly sensitive, or regulated documents (see Section 10); violate any laws or third-party rights; attempt to bypass security or access unauthorized systems; use automated tools or scraping without permission; interfere with platform performance; or upload copyrighted content without authorization. Violations may result in immediate termination and legal reporting.
Free accounts have a maximum file size of 50MB and use a standard processing queue with automatic file deletion. Paid tiers with higher limits and additional features may be introduced in the future and will be governed by updated terms with reasonable notice. Anonymous sessions are subject to lower rate limits than registered accounts.
All uploaded and processed files are designed to be automatically deleted from our active systems within approximately two hours. Deletion is performed by automated jobs running at regular intervals.
Although files are deleted from our active storage, our cloud provider may retain low-level storage remnants such as redundant blocks, backups, and object lifecycle buffers for up to 24 hours in accordance with their minimum retention mechanics. This does not give anyone access to your files, but deletion is not instantaneous at the hardware level.
We do not manually view, open, or analyze user files except as required by law, to investigate security threats such as malware or abuse, or to diagnose major system failures.
You are responsible for backing up important documents. PDFHaul does not permanently store files.
You retain full ownership of the files you upload. You grant us a temporary, limited license to store and process your files solely to provide the Service. This license ends when your files are deleted from our active systems. All software, branding, design, functionality, and other intellectual property assets of the platform belong to Bultech.
With your consent, we may send you marketing emails about new features, tips, and updates. You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by updating your preferences in your account settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect service-related notifications, which are sent regardless of marketing preferences.
For paid subscriptions, payment is due immediately upon subscription. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled, and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Refunds are discretionary. Price changes will be announced at least 30 days before taking effect. We never store credit card information.
All output produced by PDFHaul, including compressed PDFs, merged files, extracted text, OCR results, thumbnail images, and AI-generated results, is provided "as is". We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, suitability for legal or official use, preservation of formatting, or error-free results. You must verify output accuracy before relying on it.
PDFHaul is not intended for processing medical records, legal contracts, government-issued IDs, financial statements, regulated or compliance-bound documents, or documents requiring certified deletion. You upload such files at your own risk. Bultech is not responsible for losses or claims involving sensitive documents.
PDFHaul is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, perfect security, freedom from data loss, exact deletion timing, zero downtime, or accuracy of processed output. You use the Service at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bultech is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; loss of data, revenue, business, or profits; unauthorized access to files; output inaccuracies; delays or failures in deletion; or technical issues beyond our control. Maximum liability is limited to the greater of: (1) the amount you paid in the last 12 months, or (2) $100 CAD. This limit applies to all claims combined.
You agree that no founder, developer, officer, or individual associated with Bultech shall be personally liable for any claim arising out of your use of PDFHaul. All claims must be directed exclusively to Bultech as its operating name or its future incorporated entity.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bultech from claims arising from your files, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights.
We do not monitor or pre-screen files. You are solely responsible for the content you upload.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms, for illegal activity, for non-payment, to protect the security of the Service, or at our discretion with notice. Upon termination, all access ceases and files are deleted in accordance with Section 6.
We may update these Terms. Changes will be communicated by updating this page and the "Last updated" date, and by email notification for major changes. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflicts of law principles.
Disputes must follow a process of good-faith negotiation, then mediation, then binding arbitration in Ontario. Court litigation is not permitted except to enforce arbitration decisions.
You waive the right to participate in class actions or representative lawsuits. All disputes must be brought individually.
Any claim must be filed within six months of the event giving rise to it. After this period, claims are permanently barred.
